Symptoms of a Sleep-Deprived Author: Constant Questioning of the Day of the Week

It's Wednesday.

I know!

So why do you keep asking me what day it is?

I don't know. Why, when you check your watch, if I ask you what time it is you have to check again?

Don't try to turn this back on me!

:D I usually have to check to know what day it is. Some days I'm lucky to know what month it is.

o.O I'm confused...Who are you talking to?

Ryan Sullivan said...

Not all is explained in the Dark Corner. It doesn't have to be anyone.

So you're talking to yourself? Don't you know that is the first sign of madness?
Welcome!

To your first question, not necessarily. It was a recreated dialogue that I have experienced multiple times in the past in a number of forms. So, it doesn't have to be anyone. You do realise I am someone, right?

Wait...I'm lost. What does being someone have to do with this?

Ryan Sullivan said...

I give up. You are a lost cause.

Terreur Nocturne said...

No, just lost.
I give up on you first!

Welcome to The Dark Corner of the Mind. My name is Ryan Sullivan and my aim with this blog is to help others with their own writing, as well as to make note of some of my own writing endeavours.

Here at The Dark Corner, Real Life is both our best friend and our worst enemy. Look to him for inspiration, but don't let him get in the way too much.

If he does, bribe him with cookies.
